Who We Are
Dr. Denise Erskine Meusa (Dr. deNeze) brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work as a communication expert, speech coach, and Prosci Change Management expert. Throughout her career, she has taught thousands of students at multiple institutions—including the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland Global Campus, and Prince George's Community College, just to name a few—where she has helped individuals from diverse backgrounds develop their communication skills and find their authentic voices.
Her educational background is both extensive and impressive. Dr. deNeze holds a Bachelor's degree and master's degree in communication, along with a Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership from Morgan State University. Her studies have also taken her to Howard University, Brooklyn College, and The New School for Social Research, enriching her perspective on communication and pedagogy. Additionally, she is certified in Prosci Change Management, equipping her to guide organizations and individuals through transformational change with strategic communication and leadership.
A published author and expert in culturally responsive pedagogy, Dr. deNeze understands that effective communication must honor and reflect diverse voices and experiences. She is a master storyteller and is currently working on her second book, How to Become an Amazing Public Speaker When You Overcome False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR), which will guide readers in transforming their speaking anxiety into powerful, confident communication.
